Arts & Crafts Shows At Warm Mineral Springs – Rediscover Your Youth!

Location of our art shows Warm Mineral Springs FloridaWarm Mineral Springs is located midway between Sarasota and Fort Myers on Florida’s beautiful Gulf coast. The spectacular site of our new Warm Mineral Springs arts and crafts shows is in the midst of a striking oasis with palm trees and exotic birds. It’s an easy day trip from beach communities like Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Venice, Nokomis, Longboat Key and Bradenton.

Our juried fine art shows at Warm Mineral Springs provide a stage for talent from Florida and around the world!

Also available on-site is the full-service Donya Day Spa, award-winning Evergreen Cafe as well as outdoor classes in Zumba and Gyrokinesis under the palm trees, and Watsu and Hydro-Yoga in the water.

Community Affair’s Juried Fine Art and Fine Craft weekday shows will have center stage on 10 different dates beginning November 16-17, 2011 and concluding April 18-19, 2012.

Art collectors and patrons will enjoy our artists’ colorful and creative booths with watercolor, photography, metal, fiber, ceramics, sculpture, cartooning, writing, jewelry, glass, mixed media, leather, wood, culinary and healing arts.

Discover Warm Mineral Springs and see for yourself why the Springs is THE perfect place for an art show.

Here are a few reasons:

Before we ever get started with our own generous and unique advertising campaign, the location and its amenities are heavily advertised by the Springs in a $5,000 per week in print, radio, TV and web media budget — all of which feature all 10 of our Community Affair shows.

Not only is it a destination site for people from around the world, but the location is ideal, just ten miles west of I-75, and less than half a mile off of Tamiami Trail. There are plenty of reasonable hotels, restaurants and pharmacies nearby, plus, we are able to offer free on-site overnight parking for artists’ RVs and cars.

The Springs also has his/hers dressing rooms which include private lockers and showers open during business hours.

The historic artesian spring was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1977 and is the state’s only warm mineral spring.  The water has the highest mineral content of any warm springs in the world, including the famous spas in Vichy and Aix les Bains in France, Baden Baden in Germany and Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Because the natural water contains 51 minerals, people have found that it soothes joint pain and provides relief for muscular problems, arthritis and rheumatism. Visitors come from around the world to soak in its 87-degree waters. It is believed that Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon sought this very spring as his legendary “Fountain of Youth.”

We offer early set-up which begins right after the Spring closes on Tuesdays from 5-7 p.m. and early Wednesday mornings from 5-8 a.m. the day of the show. Artists must be ready for business when the Springs opens at 9 a.m. and close promptly at 5 p.m. both Wednesday and Thursday. Exhibitors break-down their booths from 5-7 p.m. Thursdays.
